June 2015 bbc films at courtyard! On Sunday, 7 June 2015, the BBC visited us here at Courtyard Antiques. They returned to our shop for the fifth time to film for the popular day time television programme “Antiques Roadtrip”. Celebrity presenter James Braxton was competing against Charlie Ross, and was tasked with finding the highest quality antiques, despite his small budget! James purchased a few items in his quest to pip Charlie to the post at auction. Comments from the celebrity auctioneers included “this is a wonderful antique shop with a great variety of items” and “there is a very good range of quality dealers here”. Customers will find something to suit all budgets at Courtyard Antiques.
This time round we decided to offer them something a bit different, so we asked a friend of the shop, Anna Graham – a Spanish enthusiast – to come and cook traditional Spanish food including Tortilla Española and a variety of tapas, which were enjoyed by the cast, crew, dealers and customers alike.
